The ERSA i-CON TRACE combines a powerful manual soldering workstation with the advantages of digitally networked electronics production. Soldering tasks, parameters and process specifications can be centrally managed and documented via PC, tablet or smartphone using the TRACE Mobile App and TRACE Cockpit.
IPC/CFX certified
The i-CON TRACE is the world’s first soldering station certified to IPC/CFX. This manufacturer-independent communication standard supports standardized data exchange with production and MES systems, making it easier to integrate manual soldering into networked manufacturing processes and use process data centrally.
GREEN MEANS GO
The LED interface shows the station status directly at the workplace. A green light indicates process release only when the required conditions for the soldering task have been met. This supports repeatable workflows and helps reduce errors caused by incorrect settings.
TRACE Cockpit can define target temperature, soldering tip, solder wire, flux and the component or assembly. Depending on the process, materials and components can also be scanned and checked against the stored specifications.
The i-CON TRACE records relevant process data for quality assurance, process analysis and traceability. Data can be exported as PDF, Excel or CSV. Real-time XML data exchange with higher-level production systems is also possible.
