The i-CON VARIO 4 MK2 multi-channel soldering and desoldering station meets the highest demands for professional soldering and desoldering. The flagship of the i-CON family provides the user with 4 soldering tools for demanding soldering tasks:
an ergonomic hot air pencil AIR-Tool S (200 W) for contactless energy transmission, the 150 W i-Tool soldering iron for efficient soldering, the Chip Tool VARIO desoldering tweezers (2×40 W) for precise desoldering of the finest SMD elements, and the X-Tool vario (150 W) for desoldering wired components.

All soldering tools are equipped with an acceleration sensor that can be used to set an automatic standby switch (150-300°C) or a hibernation function (room temperature) after being put down. The tools heat up again in seconds by moving them back into operating mode.
Alternatively, it is possible to connect further ERSA soldering tools.
All functions, including air and vacuum generation, are integrated into a central supply unit with a very simple i-Op operation and a clear display. The station also offers interfaces for automatically switching on Ersa solder fume extraction units (via a standby signal) or controlling Ersa infrared preheaters, as well as a USB port. An optional microSD memory card can be used to quickly and securely update the station or tools, making it ready for future tools. The station is ideally suited for use in ESD protected areas.

AIR-Tool S:
Ergonomically handy and powerful 200W hot air pencil with an air volume that can be precisely regulated on the handle (2 to 20 l/min) and its display on the screen. Suitable hot air tips from the 0472 series… An integrated motion sensor activates the i-Tool AIR S when it is removed from the holder; the air volume is switched on with an optical IR sensor in the handpiece.

Chip Tool VARIO:
Strong 2x 40W in small compact desoldering tweezers. The tweezers feature a unique dual-action function: you can either close against the spring or clamp the component to be desoldered in the tweezers' spring. The pluggable heating element pairs can be precisely aligned with each other on the handle. You can find suitable desoldering tip pairs in the 0462… series. The tweezers also have an integrated motion sensor for activation from standby mode.

X-Tool Vario
One of the most powerful desoldering irons with 150 W heating power, very easy to change the desoldering tips and easy to clean the residual solder container.
Designed for the most difficult desoldering jobs of conventional components on massive printed circuit boards. As desoldering tips, please use types of the 0742ED series.

i-Tool
The i-Tool is an extremely light, fine soldering iron in the form of a ballpoint pen. 150 W heat output ensure the fastest heat-up and recovery times. Process window alarm, energy output levels and automatic stand-by sensor give the i-CON user a level of process control that has never been achieved before. Optionally, you can get ERSA's largest tip range for this in the 0102… series. The integrated Tip'N'Turn bayonet lock ensures quick and easy tip changes and also provides a 20-25% improvement in performance compared to screw connections.
