The i-CON VARIO 4 MK2 multi-channel soldering and desoldering station meets the highest demands for professional soldering and desoldering. The flagship of the i-CON family provides the user with four soldering tools for demanding soldering tasks: Flexible soldering and desoldering with contactless energy transmission using the new, ergonomic i-Tool AIR S hot air pencil (200 W), efficient soldering with the powerful 150 W i-Tool, precise desoldering of the finest SMD elements using the new Chip Tool VARIO desoldering tweezers (80 W), and desoldering of wired components
with the proven X-Tool (120 W). Alternatively, it is possible to connect other ERSA soldering tools. All functions, including air and vacuum generation, are bundled in a central supply unit with the familiar simple i-OP operation
and a clear display. The station also offers interfaces for Ersa solder fume extraction units or infrared preheating as well as a USB port. The station can be quickly and securely configured via a microSD memory card
and is therefore ideally equipped for all applications in professional electronics manufacturing. The station is ideally suited for use in ESD protected areas.

i-Tool-AIR S
Ergonomically handy, powerful! This is how the i-tool AIR S can be aptly described. The slim, lightweight handpiece carries a 200 W heating cartridge, allowing fatigue-free work on a wide range of SMD components. The hot air volume can be easily adjusted directly on the handpiece; the respective air volume (2 to 20 l/min) can be clearly seen on the display of an i-CON VARIO 2 or 4. The air volume can be precisely adjusted even when soldering the smallest chip resistors. Various nozzles can be used to optimally heat the components. A motion sensor activates the i-Tool AIR S when it is removed from the holder, and an IR sensor in the handpiece allows it to be switched on and off without a button.

Chip Tool VARIO
The Chip Tool VARIO desoldering tweezers are characterized by powerful performance (2 x 40 W) and a very compact design. This makes them ideal for the finest soldering work on very small SMD components. The pairs of pluggable heating elements can be precisely aligned with each other on the handle and can be quickly changed at any time. A switchover element allows the change from self-closing to self-opening operation of this precision tool. Like the i-Tool and the i-Tool AIR, the Chip Tool VARIO has the proven and reliable motion sensor for activation from standby mode.
i-Tool
The i-Tool is an extremely light, powerful fine soldering iron with a comprehensive selection of affordable permanent soldering tips. 150 W power ensures the fastest heat-up and recovery times. Process window alarm, power performance levels and automatic stand-by sensor give i-CON users an unprecedented level of process control. The integrated Tip’N’Turn bayonet lock ensures quick and easy tip changes and also provides a 20-25% improvement in performance compared to screw connections.
– Energy consumption in standby approx. 52W
